QuickSign Cloud
QuickSign Cloud provides a way to operate MP80 media players over the Internet. QuickSign Cloud basically provides storage of media content and distributes that content to one or more MP80 media players.
Essentially, users can upload video files and playlists to the cloud. The MP80 media players then retrieves and plays the content.
QuickSign Cloud supports a wide range of media content including videos, playlists, images, mp3 files, streams, and websites. Also supports screen layouts as created by the CE Labs Layout Designer (included with QuickSign Cloud desktop application).
Media Storage
As its name implies, QuickSign Cloud provides cloud storage. The cloud storage safely stores a user's media content. The media content can then be accessed from any PC running the QuickSign Cloud desktop application.
Storage space can be as large or as small as required.
Player Control and Monitoring
With QuickSign Cloud, players can be fully controlled and monitored across the Internet.
In a typical scenario, the user will first create a playlist of videos and/or other media. Once created, a Load/Play command can be issued to the player or players as desired. The player will immediately begin to download media as necessary from the cloud. Once the downloads are complete, playback begins.
If a player already has a copy of the needed media file, then the playback begins immediately.
NOTE: Media is stored on the player, therefore playback will continue even if the Internet connection fails. Player media storage can be up to 32GB (based on SD card size).
Player status can be easily viewed in the QuickSign Cloud desktop application.
Layouts
In addition to normal media types, screen "layouts" as created by The CE Labs Layout Designer are supported.
Layouts contain multiple zones that can be placed anywhere on the screen. There are a number of zones available. A zone can contain a simple image or text item or can be more complex supporting, for example, a video playlist, slide show, RSS feed, weather report, or clock.
Zones can be place on top of each other and even over playing video. Zone opacity can also be set allowing a zone to be "see through".
