Layouts

With the QuickSign Cloud desktop application, you are able to create a screen layout and load it to a player. A layout essentially separates the screen into zones. One zone is usually a video, while the other zones may be text, images, slide shows, RSS feeds, and other items.

The Layout Designer is used to create layouts.

Layout Designer

The Layout Designer is used to create layouts. Once a layout is created and saved, it will appear in the layout table. The Layout Designer is accessed when New Layout is clicked. The designer is basically WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) editor.

Creating a Layout

From the QuickSign Cloud Desktop application, highlight Layouts in the Panel Selector Bar. Click New Layout to open the Layout Designer
