Application Overview

The QuickSign Cloud Desktop Application must be first installed on your PC. The application runs on Windows 7, 8, or 10.

There are no special installation requirements. Once installed, you simple start the application and login using your QuickSign Cloud account credentials.

Login

The login dialog opens when application is started and allows you to login to QuickSign Cloud system. Simply enter username and password and click Login.

You can optionally select to "remember the password". The password will be stored the current PC only.

QuickSign Cloud

NOTE: You can select “Continue Without Login”. In this case, most application functions do not work, but you can access some menu items and update the application.

The main menu contains a number of functions as follows:

Main
Account Info Shows status of your QuickSign Cloud account.
Sync Report A detailed report that shows items synced in the cloud.
Setup Opens the setup dialog. See Setup Dialog.
Exit Exit the application.
View
Player Label Only Only the player label will appear in player tree.
Player ID Only the player ID will appear in player tree. The player ID is a unique identifier for the media player.
Player Label and ID Show both the player label and player ID.
Players
Delete Delete the highlighted player. If the player is still online, it will appear in list again on next update.
Multi-player Permits issuing load/play command on multiple players at the same time. Load/Play
QuickSign Cloud
Login Opens the login dialog. See QuickSign Cloud Login.
Logout Logs out of QuickSign Cloud. Does not exit application.
Get Player Activation File Get a copy of the activation file that is used to setup the media players.
Change Password Change your password to QuickSign Cloud.
Update Player Application Update the player application on the selected player. Not usually necessary.
Help
Help Opens this help screen.
About QuickSign Cloud Contains version and other information about QuickSign Cloud Sign.
Check for Updates Opens dialog that checks if new versions of QuickSign Cloud are available. Also, provides option to check for updates automatically on application startup.

Panel Selector Bar

Under the Main Menu are various functional panels that can be selected. The panels are Players, Videos, Images, Streams, Websites, Music, Layouts, Schedules, and Upload.

Simply click on the desired item on the Panel Selector Bar and the associated panel will appear.

Setup

From the Setup Dialog only manages one setting and that is the path to FFmpeg.

FFmpeg is an open source programs used to generate video preview images. The default path should be good in most cases and you usually do not need to alter this setting. FFmpeg can be installed along with the QuickSign Cloud desktop application.

The Setup Dialog is accessed by selecting Main->Setup from the Main Menu.
