Panels

The QuickSign Cloud application has a number of select-able panels just under the main menu.


Player Panel

Players that are available in your QuickSign Cloud account appear in the player tree on left-side of the Player Panel. This is the main panel for QuickSign Cloud. It contains functions for controlling and monitoring the media players.

The panel consists of a player tree and a set of tabbed panels.

Player Tree

The player tree shows a list the available players in your QuickSign Cloud account. If a player is not activated or is not properly connected to the internet, it will not appear in the list. The icon next to each player shows the player state. See Player State.

To update the player list and status for all players immediately, click on the update all players button: refresh

Video Panel

The Video Panel shows a table of videos that are on the Cloud. Videos are added to the table from the Upload Panel.

Controls
X Selected Delete the selected videos
X All Delete all videos

The videos are deleted from the cloud and also PC (if a copy resides on the PC).
You will be warned if the video files are in use by any player.

Image Panel

The Image Panel shows a table of images. Images are added to the table from the Upload Panel.

Controls
X Selected Delete the selected images
X All Delete all images

The images are deleted from the cloud and also PC (if a copy resides on the PC). You will be warned if the image files are in use by any player.


Stream Panel

The Stream Panel shows a table of streams available to be utilized in playlists. Streams can be a RTP stream or an HTTP address that points to a video file. A stream definition can added by clicking the New Stream button. Once a stream is defined, it can be added to a playlist.

X Selected Delete the selected stream
X All Delete all streams
Edit Select edit on the associated row to edit the stream definition

Website Panel

The Website Panel shows a table of website definitions to be utilized in playlists. Websites definitions are simply the addresses to a website. A website can be added by clicking the New Website button. Once a website is defined, it can be added to a playlist.

X Selected Delete the selected website definition
X All Delete all website definitions
Edit Select edit on the associated row to edit the website definition

Playlist Panel

This panel contains a table of user created playlists. These playlists can then be loaded to the players.

Controls
New Playlist Opens the playlist editor with a new empty playlist
X Selected Delete the selected website definition
X All Delete all website definitions
Edit Select edit on the associated row to edit the playlist

Layout Panel

The Layout Panel shows a table of user created layouts. A layout can be added by clicking the New Layout.

Controls
New Playlist Opens the playlist editor with a new empty playlist
X Selected Delete the selected website definition
X All Delete all website definitions
Copy Select copy on the associated row to copy the layout
Edit Select edit on the associated row to edit the playlist

Before deletion, you will be warned if the layout is in use by any player.

Music Panel

The Music Panel shows a table of mp3 files. Mp3 files are added to the table from the Upload Panel.

Controls
X Selected Delete the selected mp3 files
X All Delete all mp3 files

The mp3 files are deleted from the cloud and also PC. You will be warned if the mp3 files are in use by any player.


Schedules Panel

The Schedule Panel shows a table of schedules that have been created. A schedule can be added by clicking the New Schedule button.

Controls
New Schedule Opens the schedule editor with a new empty schedule
X Selected Delete the selected schedule
X All Delete all schedules
Copy Select copy on the associated row to make a copy of the schedule
Edit Select edit on the associated row to edit the schedule

Before deletion, you will be warned if the schedule is in use by any player.

Upload Panel

Video, image, and mp3 files are uploaded to QuickSign Cloud from the Upload Panel.

Simple Click Add Files to select files to be uploaded. Once selected, the files will appear in a table with corresponding upload progress. Once complete, the file will appear either in the Video, Image, or Music Panel depending on media type. After upload is complete, the files can be added to a playlist.
